Wind energy is the world's fastest-growing clean energy technology--today,
the U.S. has more than 6,300 MW of wind generating capacity.
Distributed wind, sited at or near the site of use, can provide
affordable, clean power to the building from 3.7 kW up to several
MW. These smaller systems are ideal for peak shaving for buildings
and communities, rural/remote, and water pumping/moving/irrigation
applications.
NET can assess energy needs and provide wind resource maps to
help determine where wind energy makes sense.
